A capacity field of 128 junior golfers travelled to the Northern Rivers of NSW on the 14 & 15 April to compete in the 2019 Ballina Junior Masters.  For the fifth time, the Ballina Golf Club hosted the tournament with many of Australia’s top golfers competing in the tournament after also competing in the Australian Boys and Girls Championships, on the Gold Coast.  It was fantastic to see seven of our girls participate in this event, with all achieving excellent results.

The girls results were as follows:

Girls 16 & Over:

Pyper Hollis (Kew) – Rounds of 77 & 77 for a total 154. Won Nett & Placed 3rd in Gross & 3rd in the Overall Girls Championship

Maddison Butterfield – Rounds of 89 & 92 for a total 181. Placed 9th in Gross & Nett, Placed 28th in the Overall Girls Championship

Pyper Hollis

Girls 14 & 15 Years:

Quedesha Golledge (Kew) – Rounds of 83 & 89 for a total 172. Tied 6th in Gross & 8th in Nett, Tied 22nd in the Overall Girls Championship

Madeleine Laws-Farrell (Port Macquarie) – Rounds of 87 & 85 for a total 172. Tied 6th in Gross & Tied 2nd in Nett, Tied 22nd  in the Overall Girls Championship

Keona Sykes (Coffs Harbour) – Rounds of 106 & 110 for a total 216. Placed 10th in Gross & Nett, Placed 31st in the Overall Girls Championship

Girls 12 & 13 Years:

Vanna Limeburner (Kew) – Rounds of 83 & 79 for a total 162. Placed 4th in Gross & 2nd in Nett, Placed 13th in the Overall Girls Championship

Ella Scaysbrook (Port Macquarie) – Rounds of 86 & 83 for a total 169. Placed 6th in Gross & Nett, Placed 18th in the Overall Girls Championship
