2018 CNC Medal Final – Port Macquarie GC

2018 CNC Medal Final – Port Macquarie GC

The District Medal was played at Port Macquarie Golf Club on Monday 16th July. It was certainly a cold early morning but clear skies and sunny conditions made playing golf on a great course worth the early morning start!

Thank you to the players and to Port Macquarie – the course was in good condition with fast greens proving the test for the day.

Congratulations to:

Div 1: Barbara Gordon (Bulahdelah) Nett Score 74
Div 2: Dianne Christensen (Kew) Nett Score 74
Div 3: Lorraine Myers (Kew) Stableford points 33 (on a count back)

I apologise for the photos but it was the best I could do under the circumstances.

Hope to see you soon at Kew.

Warm regards
Barbara

2018 Pennant Final

It was a fantastic final at Port Macquarie today – super sunny winter’s day and the course was in great condition. Bulahdelah verses Nambucca Heads Dolphins, two matches each and one match continued up the 19th hole, the eventual winner was Nambucca Heads Dolphins!

Well done to Nambucca Heads for winning the WGCNC District 2018 Pennant Final.

All matches were played in the true spirit of the game and a big ‘thank you’ to Port Macquarie for making their course available and a tasty ‘congratulations’ cake!

On behalf of WGCNC a big thanks to all participating Clubs this year and their players and we look forward to seeing you around the traps in 2019 OR at our Annual tournament at Kew in early August.

Finally I would like to thank Audrey Crow for her advice, help and knowledge she has imparted over the past 10 years of being involved with WGCNC.
