The girls have been very busy over the last few weeks playing lots of golf. Please find detailed below the results for each event:

Academy Games -27 – 29th April 2018:

North Coast which included Maddison Butterfield & Madeline Laws-Farrell, won the NSW Golf Team Event.

Forster/Tuncurry Junior Open -6 May 2018:

Winner – Maddison Butterfield (Frederickton) with a Round of 86 Gross & 66 Net
R/Up – Ella Scaysbrook (Port Macquarie) with a Round of 84 Gross & 71 Net

Year 7/8/9 JNJG NSW All School Junior Championships – 8 & 9 May 2018:

Two of our junior girls participated in this event over 2 days at Foster, their results as follows:
Quedesha Golledge (Taree) – R1: 91 & R2: 84 = 175 Gross / 149 Net
· Placed 2nd in the Girls Scratch & 5th Net Overall.
· Won the Year 8 Girls Scratch & 2nd Net
Annie Knox (Frederickton) – R1: 114 & R2: 113 = 227 Gross / 155 Net
· Placed 8th in the Girls Scratch & Net Overall
· Placed 4th in Year 8 Girls Scratch & Net

NSW All Schools Stroke Championships – 8 & 9 May 2018:

Four of our junior girls participated in this event over 2 days at Tuncurry & Taree courses. Results as follows:
Pyper Hollis (Kew) – R1: 79 & R2: 90 = 169 Gross
· Placed 4th Overall in the NSWCCC ranks & made it to the NSWCCC Golf Team to play in July at Riverside Oaks.
Ella Scaysbrook (Port Macquarie) – R1: 81 & R2: 93 = 174 Gross
· Placed 5th Overall in the NSWCCC ranks & won the NSWCCC Under 15 Championships and made it to the NSWCCC Golf Team to play in July at Riverside Oaks.
Madeline Laws-Farrell (Port Macquarie) – R1: 95 & R2: 99 = 194 Gross
Maddison Butterfield (Frederickton) – R1: 101 & R2: 97 = 198 Gross

North Coast JNJG Junior Masters – 19 & 20 May 2018:

Six of our junior girls participated in this event over 2 days at Kew Country Club. Results as follows:
Pyper Hollis (Kew) – R1: 81 & R2: 83 = 164 Gross / 150 Net
· Placed 5th Overall in Scratch & Tied 3rd in Net
· Placed 4th in Girls 16 Years & Over Gross & Won the Net
Madeline Laws-Farrell (Port Macquarie) – R1: 88 & R2: 91 = 179 Gross / 149 Net
· Placed 17th Overall in Scratch & Tied 3rd in Net
· Placed 6th in Girls 14 & 15 Years Gross & Won the Net
Quedesha Golledge (Taree) – R1: 92 & R2: 90 = 182 Gross / 156 Net
· Placed 19th Overall in Scratch & 17th in Net
· Placed 7th in Girls 14 & 15 Years Gross & 5th in Net
Maddison Butterfield (Frederickton) – R1: 110 & R2: 93 = 203 Gross / 165 Net
· Placed 25th Overall in Scratch & Net
· Placed 8th in Girls 14 & 15 Years Gross & Net
Ella Scaysbrook (Port Macquarie) – R1: 94 & R2: 91 = 185 Gross / 163 Net
· Placed 21st Overall in Scratch & 23rd in Net

Pennant Final 2017

Pennant Final 2017

The final of this year’s Pennants took place on Monday 26th June at Kempsey Golf Club between South West Rocks & Port Macquarie Pearls and congratulations goes to the Port Pearls, winners of the Pennant.

The day was a perfect winter’s day and the contest between the teams was close.

I would like to thank all teams who participated this year in the Pennant and hope you all will be there next year.

A big thank you to Kempsey ladies for morning tea and organising a winners  celebration cake for all to enjoy.
